Katie Goodman
2024 HRWS Keynote Speaker
In 2024, HRWS welcomed keynote speaker Katie Goodman. An award-winning comedian, author and international speaker, Goodman quite literally wrote the book on using improv comedy to improve your life. With over 20 years of experience training and speaking, Goodman taught over 40,000 people how to use the tools of improv comedy - touching on topics such as staying present, being flexible, and authenticity - to navigate the unknown and tackle the challenges in their lives. Katie's unique approach was a hit with attendees last September offering a fresh perspective on how to approach life's challenges.

Santa Anita Park!
Your HRWS Ticket Includes an exciting full day experience at Santa Anita Park the day after programming at Le Meridien.
A Morning At Clocker's Corner
Start your morning with breakfast at the famed Clockers’ Corner hosted by XBTV hosts and racing analysts, Michelle Yu and Zoe Cadman, to watch morning training, highlighting appearances from California Crown contenders, and swap handicapping tips for that day’s race card.
Racing At Santa Anita Park
Round out the day with an afternoon of racing at the great race place, beginning at 1:00 p.m. PT. All guests will have reserved seating and be able to enjoy complimentary specialty cocktails and snacks, while also having the opportunity to participate in a wagering experience and contest (more details to come!).
Touring The Backside
After morning training, hop on the tram and head out to explore the backside of Santa Anita on a guided tour. Stops include the Receiving Barn, historical sites like the George Woolf and Seabiscuit Statues, the Jockey Silks Room, the Saddling Paddock, and finally, the Carriage Barn.
Head To The Winner's Circle
Friday’s racing program will be highlighted by a race named in honor of the Horse Racing Women’s Summit. Attendees will be taken on a guided tour to the paddock to see the racehorses, jockeys and other connections, be able to watch the race from the winner’s circle and all gather for a photo following the HRWS race.
